Barbara was Fred's girlfriend. Fred eventually shaved her hair causing her to leave him. Her story is mentioned in a flashback in the episode Freaky Fred. She made a cameo in The Tower of Dr. Zalost (with hair).

"Barbara, my love was named, and her fair hair, a mane untamed, until one evening, I'm ashamed, I got a little... naughty.
