The Buck is an adult deer that only appeared in the Season 4 episode, "Farmer-Hunter, Farmer-Hunted." The Buck sports long antlers, a small tail and glasses. He also has normal deer features, such as slim limbs and brown fur.
Biography[]
Eustace tries to become an excellent hunter in Farmer-Hunter, Farmer-Hunted, and hopes of being a better hunter than his brother. After Eustace sleeps in the woods with Courage, who acts as his hunting dog, the farmer tries to blast a family of deer who are seen frolicking in the forest. The family begins to hide behind a rock before any of them can get shot. The Buck tells his family that he can't stand all the hunters trying to blast him, so he has decided to hunt them instead. He unveils a large gun and shoots many pictures of Eustace which are plastered on nearby trees. Courage sees what the deer is planning on doing, and races off in order to inform Eustace.
However, Courage made a deal with the Buck, and during the show, Hunt For Knowledge, the Buck is very intelligent as he got two questions right while Eustace answered them wrong.
In a rage over his humiliation, Eustace attempted to shoot the Buck anyway, only for the stray shot to enrage a nearby monstrous Grizzly Bear. Eustace attempted to escape his comeuppance by ripping off the Buck's antlers and placing them on his own head and frolicking off into the woods, ironically only fooling the hidden hunters surrounding him.
