The creature is locked behind a mouse shaped door in Schwick's rehearsal room. There is a large pile of bones that surrounds the hole, along with cracks on the top of the nearby wall. The monster is never shown in the episode and there is very little information known about the character. What is known is that the pet is a hamster and eats the skin of its victims, reducing them to nothing but bones. It's an omnivore, judging by how it eats Eustace's skin off at the end of Courage in the Big Stinkin' City.

Some fans have speculated it to be the Intruder, a blobbish omnivorous creature from the Toonami (programming block on Cartoon Network) event of the same name.
It has since been confirmed by John Dilworth that Schwick's Pet is actually a hamster.
